A bit about me
Christchurch photographer, Neonatal Intensive Care nurse, Mum to two outrageously beautiful humans and master chef of burnt toast and cold tea. Since my littlest was born, I've realised the real meaning to 'tired' and so more recently- coffee connoisseur.
I've been photographing love stories for eight years and if I'm completely honest, 2015 me wouldn't have believed I'd have made it here. I believe photographs should be felt. Dresses are meant to get dirty, hair is meant to be windblown and humans should be let loose to do their thing. Gone are the days where photography is based around exceptionally posed images confined within four walls of a studio. Photoshoots (in my opinion) should be fun, raw, and captivating. Because after all, we're here to create memories of who you and your people actually are.
I'm inspired by human connection and I find my meaning by "bringing the joy" in both the best and worst moments, capturing love in each shape and form. Couples to weddings, newborns to families, all the way through to tiny little angels who are too fragile for this big world. My background in nursing combined with my absolute love for this job means you can expect me to be high-energy, fun, and authentic. My goal is to create a relaxed, fun vibe where you feel like you're just hanging out with a friend while capturing beautiful, timeless portraits to cherish for a lifetime.
